Over the last couple of days we have essentially had a family reunion here at our home. Amazing experience, by the way. Makes me so grateful for family.
Part of the activities included taking the kids to the Lied Discovery museum (thanks mom and dad for the season pass!!) They had an exhibit on refugees.
I've thought about it several times since, and again this morning as I was getting ready to get in the shower. How grateful I am for running water!! How grateful I am to live in safety, in a home, with my loved ones.
I wonder what other blessings I take for granted day to day...
How cool that you have a pass! Us, too. Now, we all can go to the new museum opening in the fall! Just went there, and saw the refugee section. Humbling.
